While I welcome you all to the holy precincts of Shaheed Ram Singh Pathania Memorial G.N.D. University College, Niari, I feel elated to share that in addition to the existing BA, BCA, B.COM, B.Sc (NM), B.Sc. (Comp. Sci.) and Certficate Course in Computer Application (CCA) degree courses PGDCA offered through regular mode, Guru Nanak Dev University through our illustrious ViceChancellor Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh has been very kind to establish study centre in respect of Open and Distance Learning Courses in our college. The college also offer Defence and Strategic Studies and Fine Arts also in BA-I and all learning facilities to students of distance education courses in respect of MA in Hindi, Punjabi, Economics, English, Political Science, History, M.Sc.(Computer Science), M.Com and Professional courses such as MBA, MCA. 7 Pb BN NCC Gurdaspur has very kindly allowed an NCC (Army) w.e.f this session. 80 seats have been allotted with the girls and boys in the ratio 40:60. 40 seats (16 for girls and 24 for boys) will be filled in this session and rest 40 in the same ratio will be filled from the next session. Only first year students will be eligible for this session. No doubt, the college is located in semi –hilly area, yet its scenic beauty is as enchanting as that of our ideal Shantiniketan. I appeal to the students and parents and awakened citizens of the area to join their heads, hearts and hands together with those of the University /college administration to bring each and every student from all nooks and corners to the portals of this college .
